To inform my design for the online presence of the band I looked through the Facebook pages of similiar bands to get a feel for the sort of header and icon images I should create.
Most bands tend to have photography of band members or latest album releases as their Facebook/Twitter icon. As photography of Death of Qwerty band members is non-existent/impossible, using the Shed 27 album cover would be an appropriate idea however I would like to explore an alternate composition involving one of the band's logo variations.
The header image also tends to either involve band photography or some sort of promotion for a new release. I really like what the band "Bleech" have done here with their header by promoting a single on their latest album using simple text an imagery - it avoids overloading the viewer with information but still makes the song title stick in their head.
