I did a few iterations of silhouette 8 for my hero character and also re-worked his silhouette to a three-quarter view instead of profile so I could communicate his outfit more fully.
Inspired by "The Skillful Huntsman" I've decided to mix a story book fantasy style with something a bit more sci-fi as "by successfully mixing various genres, a designer can come up with a fresh and new aesthetic that nevertheless feels familiar and accessible." (Robertson, S. 2005)
I've also been trying to push the blocky triangular shape of the upper body, reminiscent of silhouette number 4, as I feel the over-sized clothing will help to accentuate the young age of the hero.
