Johanna Wecht
Joanna Wecht usually approaches her poster designs using photo manipulation in some way to "dirty" the images. I think this approach could really aid to a "do it yourself" look to a poster and result in a nice, grungy aesthetic.

Ken Taylor
Ken Taylor creates striking, bold images emphasising both the illustration and typography of the piece. Much of his work consists of sharp line art and bright blocky colours. According to
this video on his design process, his work is done digitally.

Tara McPherson
Tara McPherson's artwork has a distinct teal and pink colour palette with shades and tints that vary depending on the project and I really like this minimal palette approach. McPherson also tends to focus on female characters illustrations as the focal point in her posters, with subtle usually decorative background.

Neil Williams
Like Tara McPherson, I enjoy Neil Williams' focus on illustration in his work. His compositions usually consist of an illustration taking up the majority of space with the logo and additional information neatly centered in the upper or lower space of the page.

Talkseek
I'm not usually a fan of vector illustrations - I feel like they look overly "clean"- however I think think the mix of smooth vector art, grungy overlays and vintage colours schemes creates a really interesting contrast in Talkseek's work.
